We Speak Contractor. Not Tech.
ABOUT OVERHEAD HANDLED
Overhead Handled exists for one reason: to bring AI tools into the trades in a way that actually fits how contractors work day to day.
OUR MISSION
Why This Site Exists
Here is the honest truth: most AI content online is written for tech people, by tech people. It is full of jargon, complicated comparisons, and features that mean nothing to someone running a crew and trying to get home on time.
Contractors do not have time for that.
We built Overhead Handled because there was a gap. There are hundreds of tools that can actually help but no one was explaining them in plain English or showing how to use them in the real world.
So that is what we do.
If you run a crew, are good at your trade, and just need someone to cut through the noise and show you what actually works, this site is for you.
What Overhead Handled Is
We are an independent resource for contractors who want to use AI without the headaches.
We find the tools, test how they work, and explain them in plain language so you do not have to.
We cover scheduling, estimating, customer communication, reviews, follow-up, and admin automation, all written for non-technical business owners in the trades.
What We Are Not
We are not a software company. We do not sell any tools directly. We are not affiliated with any of the platforms we cover as a partner or employee. We may earn a small commission if you sign up through our links. This never affects what we recommend or how we write about it. Our only job is to give you honest, useful information so you can make the right call for your business.
How We Work
Practical guidance only
If we cannot explain it in a way that works for your business, we do not publish it.
No hype
We keep it honest. No hype, no fluff—just what works and what does not.
Contractor first
Every piece of content is written from the contractor's perspective, not the software company's.
Always free to read
Every guide, review and article on this site is free. No paywalls, no subscriptions.
The Target Audience
Who This Site Is For
This site is for contractors who are good at the work but buried in the admin. If you are missing calls, chasing leads, or stuck doing paperwork at night, this is for you. No tech background needed.
